1539 is named after the year racing first took place on the famous Roodee at Chester. This sophisticated and modern glass fronted restaurant boasts breathtaking panoramic views of the whole of the Racecourse.
The restaurant offers contemporary British cooking with a focus on locally sourced produce working with North West farmers and suppliers, winning awards such as 'Taste of Cheshire' and also 'Large Restaurant of the Year' at Chester's tourism awards.
