Chester Finale

The final flutter at Chester Races in 2010 and the last time you can get your friends and family to enjoy the 'Chester Experience' and to see the horses under starters orders.

Gates open at 11.30am

The day’s events will begin at 12.15pm with a sensational fashion show in the Parade Ring, brought to the racecourse by Chester Fashion Festival. 

Six retailers from Chester will be showcasing their latest Autumnal collections including, Noa Noa, Jigsaw, Debenhams, Fenn Wright Manson, TM Lewin and Marks & Spencer.

A further fashion show will follow 3.15pm, on the Press Roof.  Models will walk the catwalk high above race goers so that everyone will have a chance to see the show.

At 1pm, racegoers will be treated to a parachute display by the RAF Falcons who will land just behind the Parade Ring - on the open course.  Recognised as the UK’s premier military Parachute Display Team, the RAF Falcons will be falling at speeds of up to 120mph! The team is comprised of some of the best military parachute instructors in the world all of which are working towards the much coveted Military Freefall Instructor qualification.

 The City of Chester Band will be playing outside the Leverhulme stand before racing.  They will then perform on the track before the first race and after the last.  For the rest of the day they will be based at the entrance to the Festival Chalets.  In addition there will be live music in the Paddock throughout the afternoon.

Adding to the glamour of the day will be guests from Channel 4's Hollyoaks.
